巴豆酰化修饰(Crotonylation)

巴豆酰化修饰(Crotonylation)

写入酶(p300/CBP/GCN5/HAT1/TIP60/KAT7/PCAF/MOF)催化蛋白质巴豆酰化,擦除酶(SIRT1-3/SIRT6-7/FOSIR5/HDAC1-3/HDAC6-8)则去除蛋白质巴豆酰化,而识别蛋白(TAF14/YEATS2/AF9/MOZ/DPF2/TAF1)则识别巴豆酰化蛋白质(图1)1,2。

Crotonylation is a dynamically reversible protein modification, referring to the process of transferring crotonyl groups from crotonyl-CoA to specific lysine residues on proteins. Crotonylation is involved in gene transcription regulation and DNA damage repair, and is closely related to tumors, embryonic development, cardiovascular diseases and so on. The writers (p300/CBP/GCN5/HAT1/TIP60/KAT7/PCAF/MOF) catalyze protein crotonylation, while the erasers (SIRT1-3/SIRT6-7/FOSIR5/HDAC1-3/HDAC6-8) remove protein crotonylation, and readers (TAF14/YEATS2/AF9/MOZ/DPF2/TAF1) recognize crotonylated proteins (Fig.1) 1,2.
